Abraham Dauhajre is a founder, CTO, and engineering leader with 15+ years of experience building software platforms and engineering teams across robotics, simulation, cloud infrastructure, AR, AI/ML systems, and consumer devices.

He is currently founder & CTO of a stealth-mode AI startup. Previously, he led robotics simulation at Amazon Lab126, led the global content-metadata pipeline behind every title on Amazon Prime Video, and was Head of Engineering at Formant, where he helped build cloud robotics infrastructure and engineering teams from the ground up.

His career spans the boundary between software and the physical world, now often called physical AI, from consumer devices and AR at companies like CastAR, Immersion, and BlackBerry, to autonomous service robots at Savioke, to cloud-native infrastructure and AI/ML systems today. That range is what lets him spot the risks that only appear when a demo meets real customers, real data, and real deployment.

He now advises founders, engineering teams, and investors, helping them evaluate technical risk, pressure-test architecture, and move complex products from prototype to production.

Experience

  • Now
Founder & CTO, Stealth-mode AI startup
Building an early-stage applied-AI company. Details under wraps for now.
  • Prior
    Robotics Simulation Lead, Amazon Lab126
Led robotics simulation for consumer robotics: synthetic data, sensor realism, and sim-to-real.
  • Prior
Content Pipeline & Global Metadata, Amazon Prime Video
Led the team behind the content pipeline for every title on Prime Video: petabyte-scale metadata ingestion, fault tolerance, and a re-architecture from a monolith to decoupled microservices.
  • Prior
    Head of Engineering, Formant
Built cloud robotics observability & operations infrastructure and the team from the ground up; scaled ROS-based fleet environments to thousands of robots on Kubernetes/AWS.
  • Prior
    Director of Cloud Infrastructure, Savioke
Migrated a service-robot fleet to containerized Docker/Kubernetes deployments; deployed an AWS IoT stack and hardware-traceability tooling across the fleet.
  • Earlier
    CastAR · Immersion · BlackBerry · Motorola
Augmented reality, haptics, and consumer devices: hardware-meets-software product and platform work.

Patents

Inventor on six U.S. patents and applications spanning haptics, connected-device sensing, and vibration systems, most from work at Immersion.

Writing, talks & research

I write and speak about cloud robotics, sim-to-real, fleet operations, and what breaks between demo and production. A few pieces:

How I work

Whether you need a first look at an architecture, an independent diligence read, or a focused piece of hands-on work, you get senior help directly from me, not a hand-off to a junior team. I take on a limited number of engagements at a time and keep them focused, so the stakes stay on the work, not on managing a vendor.
